LCSW-S

(she/her/hers)

I grew up knowing I had a purpose to help; to be someone I didn’t have, in my darkest of times, for others. So I did just that. I attended the University of North Texas, graduating with a Bachelor's in Psychology and jumping feet first into graduate school, immediately after. Through the University of Texas at Arlington, I obtained a Master's in Social Work, while fulfilling internships within law enforcement and community mental health agencies. After a few years of building up my skills as a therapist, while working at non-profits and mental health hospitals, I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, in the state of Texas, who is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

As someone who has experienced the healing benefits of EMDR firsthand, it has become my primary form of practice and a powerful way to retrain our brain on how we see our experiences, ourselves, and the world. I will also integrate parts work when applicable or requested.

I am passionate about working alongside young adults and veterans who have a desire to heal and gain strengths from past experiences and traumas. So whether your struggling with anxiety, transitioning into college, want to build your self-esteem, or talk about some really hard things, my goal is to walk alongside you and support you, with my warm, direct, and sarcastic personality.

In my free time, I love to cuddle my miniature poodle and rescue cats, while sipping on a cup of hot tea and watching trashy reality tv or reading a good book. I never turn down a Dr Pepper or the chance to travel.
